Price-less matching
What is price-less matching?
Price-less matching is the pricing of an order that arrives without prices, using the correct price list for that customer. Many customers order by product and quantity only, on WhatsApp, in an email or on a handwritten note, and expect the supplier to apply their agreed prices.
Price-less matching identifies the customer, matches each line to the catalogue and applies that customer's own list, falling back to a default list where the customer has none.
Why it matters
Orders without prices are normal in fresh produce, hospitality supply and repeat trade. Pricing them by hand relies on memory or a printed sheet, which is where stale prices and missed contract terms come from.
How Weeva handles it
Sales Order Automation prices orders that arrive with no prices from the customer's current list, or from your default list if they have none. Any price the customer did print that differs from the list is flagged for review.
Sales Order AutomationCustomer orders in any format, posted to your ERP as clean sales orders.
