Price list
What is price list?
A price list is the set of prices a supplier charges for its products, and a business may keep a separate price list for each customer or group of customers. Customer-specific lists reflect negotiated terms, volume agreements and contract prices.
In fresh produce and other fast-moving trades, price lists may change daily. The ERP applies the right list when a sales order is created, and any price printed on the customer's order can be checked against it.
Why it matters
Applying the wrong list, or an out-of-date one, quietly costs margin or starts a dispute with a customer. Reconciling customer-specific prices by hand is slow, and mistakes are rarely noticed until the invoice is queried.
How Weeva handles it
Weeva keeps a separate price list per customer and applies it to every order. Orders with no prices are priced from the list, and a printed price that differs from it is flagged for review, never overwritten. Lists can be updated daily.
